    No data on minute chart for yen future

    I have data on my volume chart but nothing for my minute charts.

    1.) Which version of NinjaTrader are you using? (Help > About)

    2.) Which data provider are you connected to?

        Hi shali27,

        Please open a new workspace by clicking File > Workspaces > New Workspace.
        In the new workspace add a new volume chart.

        Do you see data loading in this chart?

          Yes, that worked. So do I have to create a whole new workspace?

            Hi shali27,

            If you have a backup file which contains a working copy of your workspace, you could restore your settings by following the steps listed here: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...ABackupArchive

            If you do not have a backup file, you will need to recreate the layout of the original workspace within your new workspace.

              I restored, and that didn't work. I created a new workspace, and that didn't work. For some reason, the Yen future is just problematic. I can get a volume chart and a longer term minute chart. My short term minute chart just comes up empty. On top of that, now on my longer term minute chart, I'm only getting data going back to 8/12 for ES, and 7/12 for the other indices. Perhaps, this is because of their expiration dates or something? Just seem to be having a lot of problems today for some reason.

                1.) Can you give me the specific Yen futures symbol you're looking at?

                2.) Please open the Options menu (Tools > Options), then navigate to the Data tab.
                What is your Merge Policy setting?

                  I don't have an option for Merge Policy in my Data tab.

                  The Yen Future is 6J 09-10. I was told that NT or Zen Fire had no data for 10-10

                    Thanks for the clarification.

                    Please disconnect from Zen-Fire, then reset your instrument list.
                    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Misc tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.

                        Hi shali27,

                        For the 6J contract can you please go to Tools-->Historical Data-->Delete and then remove all of the historical data for the 6J chart. Once you remove the 6J data please close and reopen NinjaTrader and then recreate a new chart.
