    Connected to zen-fire but no datafeed ???

    Hi guys,

    i recently opened a demo-account via mirus and datafeed zen-fire...
    i got the e-mail with username and password as well the demo-licensekey.
    i could create new "account connection"
    BUT : when i try to connect to this new created demo-connection ... i AM connected to zen-fire -a) because bottom left is green and tells "connected zen-fire"; b) a sound comes up for connection ; c) colour is changing ; BUT i get no data AT ALL ?!?!?!?!
    there is n/a over all .... so i cant test this demo at all
    does anyone know what to do ???

    You could try going to

    Tools>Instrument Manager>ES

    then select 09/10 expiry from the drop down menu

    then>Left Arrow

    then OK

    then select the 09/10 contract from the name list

    Tell us how you make out.

      Hello Kiwi.82,

      Thank you for your post.

      It appears that you currently have the ES 06-10 selected which has expired. Please use the steps I have provided below to rollover the ES 06-10 to the current contract ES 09-10.
      • From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Instrument Manager
      • Highlight the contract you wish to rollover in the left side of the Instrument Manager window
      • Press the ">" button (the instrument will disappear from the list)
      • Press the "<" button and the instrument should re-appear with the front month expiration date

      Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.

          Now that you understand how to import current contracts, I would recommend removing expired contracts using the same method. It cuts down on the confusion.

            I've also connected with ZenFire, but I have no data at all.
            The Instrument Manager is empty!??

            Please help.

              Can you please connect to Zen-Fire then go to Tools-->Instrument Manager-->Type set to Futures-->Search.

              Please let me know if you then see instruments listed.

                Yes, I did that but nothing happened. I even set the expiry to 09-10.

                  Please reset your instruments.

                  To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Misc tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.


                  Please let us know if you continue to experience issues.
