Saving Workspace

Hi

This weekend I did a marketreplay. No problem.
However normally I have about 14 charts up with different instruments and with different indicators and strategies.
All these charts are now showing that specific date. I closed them all and brought them back on by file/new/chart.
Two questions:

Is it possible to save the workspace?

If not possible (yet) is this the way it should be done? Is there an easier way? It takes quite some time to bring back all the charts, with their specific layout.

I strongly suggest that the feature to save the workspace is added to NT in a new release.

Currently it is not possible to save workspaces within our software. This feature will be available in our next major release of NinjaTrader 6.5.

You can leave all of your Charts open when closing down NinjaTrader and they should appear on open. When you are done using the Market Replay function, you should always use a brand new chart for market replay if possible. From the Contol Center window select "File-->New-->Chart..." and select the instrument and interval for your chart. Close this chart after finished with market replay.


If you decide to use the same chart windows that you use for live trading, you must reset the chart "Last date" property to today's date by clicking on your right mouse button in the chart and selecting the menu "Format Data Series..." after you have reconnected to your live account. If you do not do this, your chart will not update with current market data.

Saving Workspace

Hope this feature comes soon... I use multiple monitors and multiple desktops (via NVIDIA desktop manager). It would be very helpful if NT could restore all windows to the correct desktops etc.

is it possible to have multipple copies of NT for each workspace? Unless theres a better way around it?
