    Unable to recover NinjaTrader custom.dll

    Hi,

    I installed NT7 on an Windows 7 64 Bit pc. NT works fine unter my admin-account. But if i start NT7 under an user-account, i get the message 'Unable to recover NinjaTrader custom.dll. Please re-install NinjaTrader'. Whats wrong?

    I found an workarround. Add admin-rigths to standard-User, instll NT7, remove admin-rights. NT7 starts correctly.

      Yes admin rights will be required for the install to finish correctly.

        I just reinstalled windows 7. I installed NT7 on the administrator account. I read that I need to give my user account adminstrative rights, then reinstall NT7 as that user, then switch the rights back to standard? As I am using the demo version do I need to get a different trial zen fire account for the standard user or can I use the same account setup details for both user accounts?

                I have not tried that but the installation said it was succesful with the admin account, it just gives me that error and it won't open.

                  Hello,

                  Please contact me by email at Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In the message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace file. The trace file will be found in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. I will need a copy of the file which is named 'trace.20141208.txt'.
