    This is incorrect - you'd see the same page that I provided an image of earlier.

    In any case, this has no bearing on the issue we're trying to resolve.

    Please proceed as per the steps provided in #8 and the issue connecting will be resolved.

      This came from my browser history from when I downloaded through the link in the "message",,, anyway why does this say I do not have to do anything special if I have 17?

      Maybe someone ought to get everything in sync?

      are u saying I'm incorrect or the instructions through this link are incorrecrt?

        The instructions you refer to are for upgrading from a version pre beta 16. The new instructions are for upgrading from any version pre beta 20.

        Perhaps you should clear your browser cache and history to ensure that you load the correct page.

          this is what comes up through the flash message in NT,, think u are missing the point,, the flash leads one astray!!!

          how did the 21 and date get into if it were in the cache?

                    ZEN that caused the majority of the problems.. Dont think NT has
                    allowed for if u set to autoconnect that the data source may not be there.
                    .Also looks like 21 changed how it saved a work spaces and some vendor code is causing problems..
                    Fill in the blank ___________ is just poor poor customer service for not informing that the data would be or is unavailable!!!!!!

                        My development team reports that this error is related to the custom indicators you're running. You'll need to contact each of your vendors to see if a new version, compatible with 7.0.0.21 is available.

                          You need to contact the 3rd party vendor for this to see if they have versions available for the latest Beta release. We don't do this.

                            Hi Vincent,
                            The indicator that gg is talking about was working fine in v20 and below...so something in v21 has changed the situation. Secondly, since I'm the developer, I have the opensource of the indicator and gg has the DLL version (encrypted by RemoteSoft)...it's important to point out here that the opensource version runs very well in v21...no workspace problems at all. Finally, if I create a non-encrypted DLL of the indicator, it too is currently working in v21. All this may point to a problem in the RemoteSoft DLL encryptor.

                            I'd like to reinstall RemoteSoft on my development machine...can you get me the download link or the installer for RemoteSoft v3.1?

                              Hi,

                              What has changed in B21 was GetSessionDate() is no longer publicly exposed. This means in your code if you are using this method you will need to use GetTradingDayFromLocal() instead.

                              As you have outlined it seems your scenario may not be related to any code breaking changes at all though. If you send us an email to support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with Attn Josh and a link to this thread I can try and get you a download link for RemoteSoft. Thanks.

                                Just for clarity sake, the indicator in question here did (and still does not) not make a call to GetSessionDate. When I said that the opensource version and non-encrypted DLL version are working in b21, I want to make sure it's understood that none of the code was affected by the code breaking change.
