    time zone

    Hello,

    in my charts I have european time. I changed to EST but after restarting NT there is still European time in the charts. In Tools-Session time there is also GMT - 5 this is EST.

    Does NT call the time maybe from web in the area from some "timeprovider"?

    How can I change please to EST. I need to do so because of some indicatators that are looking different because of different timezone.

    Thank you for your note.

    Changing the PC's clock and restarting NinjaTrader should have done the trick.

    Please tell me which specific version of NinjaTrader you're using. You can check by clicking Help > About.

      time in chart

      Kyle,

      thank you for your reply. I have NT 7.0.0.21

      I changed the time in Windows, I restarted computer and of course NT. But in the chart there is still my timezone.

      Please inform what to do

            Please create a new workspace (File > Workspaces > New Workspace) , then create a few new charts there within. Do you see the same behavior?

              timezones

              Yes, it is. In new workspace with new chart I have my timezone 19:58 now, but the time in windows is EST 13:58

                Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

                In the message, include the following:
                1.) A link to this forum thread.

                2.) Your most current trace file.
                You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
                Today's trace file would be named 'trace.20100916.txt'.

                  Edit: I found the solution.

                  Was there ever a resolution to this? I live on the west coast (PST), built a new system with PST time and installed NT 7.0.0.23. Forgot that I'd rather have my charts on EST. Changed my time in the bios, which then is reflected in WinXP but the charts still show PST.

                  Tried deleting my existing data in My Documents/NinjaTrader 7/db/tick and reloading complete new charts to no avail.

                  Ideas?
