can i set alerts to trigger only during certain hours?

i would like to set up my market analyzer to trigger alerts only during certain hours of the day, is this possible?

i have tried changing the session template but that calculates my indicators based on the new session, which screws up the data i want to be alerted on.

for example i want to track the MACD in the E-minis 24/7 but i only want to have an alert triggered during equity trading hours. if i set the session template to equity market hours then the MACD data is only calculating the ES data during equities market hours, not what i want.

i want the MACD to be calculated on the full time range of the e-minis but i want to only be alerted during equity market hours.

i hope my question is clear.

Unfortunately there is no time settings you can set for this. It is either on or off.

is there any way to set up a volume trigger? for example, if i wanted to watch a moving average of a stock and use the premarket trading to make the average more accurate but i only wanted alerts after it has started trading during regular market hours. could i do something like that?

To do so would require custom programming an indicator to achieve this. Unfortunately there is no UI approach to achieve it in the MA.
