    Locating connection lost

    Over the last couple of days I have had the unpleasant experieince of a lost
    connection while involved with a trade. Usually the connection is restored almost
    immediately but today I had to close out of NinjaTrader and reload the program to
    establish the connection. I contacted my server and had them look at my log file and
    although I show a very busy connection I do not show any packet or connection losses. I guess that means that my connection to the broker must have caused the problem and if not then where can this occure and is there any way to minimize this from happening. Thanks

    Many variables that can cause a connection loss -

    - broker servers

    - broker network

    - your own ISP

    - hardware issues

    Making sure you have a solid internet connection, you don't have faulty hardware is a good place to start.
