NT7 21 install error

    NT7 21 install error

    Deleted all the old stuff per instructions and completely deleted the directory in the document directory.... Whats up?

    Hello gg80108,

    Thank you for your post.

    You likely have installed an outdated version on SQL Compact Edition. Please:
    - go to Control panel
    - Add and remove software
    - uninstall any SQL Compact Edition you'll see
    - NinjaTrader 7 comes with its own copy of SQL Compact Edition 3.5 SP2, no need to have it installed
    - in case you needed it for different products then you needed to install latest SQL Compact Edition 3.5. SP2 which is available here: link

    Note: If you're installing on a 64-bit Windows then please pay particular attention to the release notes on that Microsoft site.

    Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

      64 bit NT Sql install

      Did find the program u mentioned and deinstalled,, Didnt test before,, this only has problems with the 64 bit NT.. Here are a few screen shots and trace

        Hi gg80108,

        After removing the SQL CE application you will want to uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader. These steps will not clear any of your user settings.

        Please follow the steps listed below to completely uninstall and reinstall NinjaTrader:
        1. Close all running applications.
        2. Then from the Start menu select --> Control Panel --> Add and Remove Programs.
        3. From Add and Remove Programs select NinjaTrader 7 and click Remove.
        4. Delete any NinjaTrader installation files. This can be done by going to C:\Program Files (x86) and removing the NinjaTrader 7 folder.
        5. Then you will need to clear your internet browser cache and history. You will clear this from within your internet browser (with IE, Tools-->Options, delete cookies and files, clear history).
        6. Reboot your machine.
        7. Once these steps are completed, download NT7 from the link below:

        Please let us know if you are able to get up and running after the reinstall.

          These are the same instruction that u gave me the first time.............
          Tried this process again,,, same failure as noted below.... U can dial into my PC if someone wants to take a look

            Hello gg80108

            Prior to setting up a remote support call we will need to understand what issues may be taking place in the background.

            Please send me your updated log & trace files for the effected dates.

            You can find these in:
            1. NinjaTrader 7 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
            2. NinjaTrader 7 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt

            (see screenshots)

            Just attach the two text files to you email & send it to support AT ninjatrader DOT com

            Once I receive them I will evaluate & try to understand what is going on.
