If your broker is not listed in the above link, you can see if your data provider and/or broker provider is compatible with NinjaTrader if they use one of the listed connection technologies; please check this complete list here:

      Chip:

Looking for a reasonably priced data feed for NT6.5 for practicing 5 minute ES.
CME has a CME emini package for what appears to be about $40 ($15 + $25)( +$10 for YM) .
Do you know whether that feed will run 6.5?

      Thanks!

        Hello ntfrog,

I am not familiar with the CME data offering. However, if they utilize one of the NinjaTrader supported connection technologies then you should be able to connect:

          Chip:

Able to connect to eSignal using NeoTicker.
Set up the Ninja Trader 6.5, Accnt Connection for eSignal with the eSignal user name and password, etc. but unable to connect.
Receive "Login failed. Unable to connect to level2 host."
          Any suggestions?

          Thanks.

            Hello

The error message “Unable to connect to level II host” indicates that the account is not authorized to receive level II data. You will need to remove the contents of the "Level II server host" field in the connection wizard under Tools > Account Connections.

Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

                  Chip -

One of the 6.5 menus seems to allow a user the option of choosing a subminute interval expressed in seconds. However, the option appears inoperative. Is that correct, or is there a way to select 30 second intervals?
If not, does v7 offer 30 second?

                  Thanks.

                    Hello ntfrog,

When selecting seconds from the Chart toolbar, a field that appears to be blank will appear, please select this field to activate the text box where you will enter the seconds interval you're looking for.

This can also be accomplished by accessing the Format Data Series window trough right clicking in the chart.

                      Kyle -

                      Thanks, that worked.

Tried to install NT 6.5 on my laptop and got a message that Net 2.0.50727 was required.

I have Win Service Pack 3 and Net 4 (downloaded and run).

                      Any suggestions?

This should be included in your current .NET Framework. Are you able to open NinjaTrader at this time? If so you can disregard this message.

When downloading NT from your site, i get the "Net 2xxx required" message that asks if I want to proceed (to the MS Net site) or not. If I respond "Yes" it sends me to the MS Net site and allows me to download and run Net 4. If I indicate "No" the install quits.

So I have not had the opportunity to launch NT 6.5.

An MS Net folder is in my Programs folder and contains two .xlm files, although Net does not appear in the Start, All Programs menu.

                          Thanks.

                            Hi ntfrog,

.NET is not like a program that you can open but is a windows application which is used as an architecture for other programs.

Since NinjaTrader requires you will want to open NinjaTrader 6.5, and if you are able to open then .NET should be installed correctly.

You can also go to the Windows Start Menu-->Control Panel-->Add/Remove Programs (Programs and Features for Windows Vista and 7) and then see if .NET framework is listed as an installed program if so then you should be able to open NinjaTrader.
