    Can't chart E7

I just noticed there is an e-mini euro called E7, but for some reason I am unable to chart it. When I try I get something along the lines of "Ninja does not support this instrument". Is that true?

I searched first and found a thread where a similar issuse was being discussed. I tried all the suggestions in that thread with no luck: deleting E7 from the instruments list and re-adding it, changing the exchange from CME to GLOBEX, resetting instruments via options/reset.

My software is up to date and so is my subscription to ninja.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello jonbig04,

    Thank you for your post.

I am able to plot this instrument in NinjaTrader. What data provider are you connecting to?

        Hello jonbig04,

Since you are using Zen-Fire you will need to use Globex for the exchange (not CME).

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

I have done that via instrument manager/edit/checked box marked GLOBEX and then changed it on the box before adding it to my instruments list after resetting the instruments list.

It says "NinjaTrader data server does not support this instrument."

            Hello jonbig04,

Unfortunately historical data for the E7 instrument is not supported.

When you set the exchange to Globex as Chip instructed, you will receive real-time data for the E7 12-10. I suggest to select it in the Control Center-->Orders-tab and you should receive data.

Please note that Zen-Fire does not provide historical data itself. As a courtesy, we allow Zen-Fire users to make use of our historical data server. Unfortunately, the E7 instrument is not recorded by the historical data server, so you will be unable to load historical data.

Ah I see. I got the real time data. Thanks for the help.
