Error on generating Strategy

Hello,

When I'm generating new code i'm getting an error message called 'Error on generating Strategy' even for the strategies I created before which worked fine earlier. here is what i did.

1. I created couple of strategies and they compiled fine.

2. now i created new strategy which gave me bunch of errors and I couldn't get past it so i gave up on it.

3. now i went back to ones which worked fine and open them and try to compile them again, now i'm getting the same error which i got while i was coding the difficult one (step 2)

looks to me there is some kind of memory kept which is repeating the same error.

Please help me on how to resolve these.

Actually when you compile in one strategy editor, it compiles ALL of your custom strategies. I suggest you resolve the problems with the other - difficult strategy -, or you should delete it or comment it out.

Hello there, vides2012 is correct. When you compile one strategy/indicator, NinjaTrader will actually compile every indicator and strategy (and bar types and other stuff) at the same time.

You will have to either comment out the erroneous portions of the new strategy, correct the errors, or delete the new strategy to get back to a working state.
