How to replay expired instruments

How to replay expired instruments
I primarily trade the ER2 Russell which rolls to a new instrument quarterly. When I try to use the stored files to replay past days, I don't seem to be able to access the old expired versions. How do I do this?

Hi:
Thank you for posting.
Go to the Replay Control Buttons and right click and choose 'Available Instruments'.
This will display a list of instruemnts that have recorded data for the selected date.

Hi Richard:
One more thing to check, make sure you have your ES 09-07 contract listed in your Default Instrument list.
If you happened to rollover to the Dec contract, more than likely this is now gone.
To retrieve, go to Tools > Instrument Manager > Available Master Instrument list and select the ES contract. Change the expiry date to 09-07 in the expiry drop down field and then re-add to your default instrument list by clicking on the '<' button.
You should now have listed in your Default instrument list, both the ES 09-07 contract and the ES 12-07 contract.
