FWB missing?
Hi, I try to add an instrument (OD7N) that is traded on the FWB via Interactive Brokers. But I can not add FWB in my exchange list and don´t get any data. What am I doing wrong? I get my chart in TWS - so there is no subscription problem.Tags: None

Hi moon_121,
Thank you for your post.
In TWS can you please check the exchange that is being used by IB, whether it is the FWB or it says Smart as the exchange.
Additionally, please check the Contract Details and let me know the full instrument setting for that contract, which may be something along the lines of OD7N@FWB.Ryan O.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Hi moon_121,
Thank you for that clarification.
Since it says SMART IB should handle the exchange routing on their side, and you can add the instrument directly from a chart.
Just open a chart (for example) and start typing in the symbol and a new instrument is automatically created.Ryan O.NinjaTrader Customer Service

No data
Sadly it is not that simple. If I add the symbol in the DOM it says:
Unable to subscribe to market data. Please assign an additional exchange to this instrument ...
If I try the same in a chart window I get:
Error on loading chart data for OD7NDefault: IB: Error in requesting historical data from IB: No securitiy definition has been found for the request (200).
If I try the same in TWS I get a chart, (but only with delayed data).
Anyway: I have to define an exchange beside the "default". But which one?

Hi moon_121,
That message is related to NinjaTrader, and what you will want to do is go to Tools-->Instrument Manager-->find the created instrument-->Edit.
Please add the XETRA exchange which should be the electronic Frankfurt exchange in addition to default.
Then in that symbol please specify for IB a symbol mapping of OD7N|FWB.Ryan O.NinjaTrader Customer Service

Now it is getting interesting: I did as you asked. Now I get the message: Error on loading chart data for OD7NDefault: Historical Market Data Service error message: No market data permission for FWB STK.
The funny thing is: I can get the chart in TWS - only the last 15 minutes are missing.

I don`t know where this SFB comes from. I uses SLVR.
I can pull up a delayed chart for SLVR@LSE on TWS without problems. I also tried to create a SLVR Instrument with Lse as exchange in NT7 but got the error message again.
Usually I can create Instruments without problems. Why not this one?
