    Relative Strength

    Hello
I'm trying to do a relative strength analysis between markets.
Is there a way to plot one stock vs another. Either in a chart or Market Analyzer ?
Such as SPY vs EWC as shown here

    Hi zoltran,

    Thank you for your post.

With NinjaTrader 7 you can overlay multiple instruments in the same chart panel, and then apply the RSI indicator.

Otherwise, what you will want to do is create a Market Analyzer and add the instruments and apply the RSI indicator to the Market Analyzer so that it shows that RSI value for multiple instruments. More information at: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/h...th_columns.htm

      Hi Ryan
I'm not looking for the RSI indicator
I want to compare two stocks/underlings as per that link.
For example DIA:SPY will compare DIA and SPY and show which is the stronger.
See the link in my first post.

        Hi zoltran,

Then you will want to refer to NinjaTrader 7's capacity to chart multiple instruments within the same window.

Here you can chart both the SPY and DIA instruments and then compare the movements of one to the other on the same chart.

Thanks.. but that's not quite the function either.
The function I"m looking for is the same as that stockcharts.com link.
The plotted line is the relative strength between the two stocks.
For example DIA:SPY .. would plot a rising line if DIA was appreciating at a higher percentage rate than SPY

I know I can do this in ninja-script .. but was looking for a built-in way to do it.

            Hi,

In that case then there is no native function to enable this, presently. I have forwarded this suggestion to development for inclusion on the list of possible future enhancements to NinjaTrader.
