    Workspace empty

This morning I start Ninjatrader as usual and my worspace is completely empty. It is showing and selected in the Workspace menu but there is no charts, no doms. Just the control center. This already happened and I did a complete reinstall with a delete of My domuments files.

What is going on? Please help me.

    Thanks.

lurefo, have you tried cycling to another workspace already, so the one you attempted opening may be 'hidden'? You could do so via Shift + F3.

also: if you deleted the MyDocuments folder, this is expected as the workspaces are stored there and if there's no workspace present at startup, NT would create a blank default one for NT 6.5

I didn't open any other worspace, it is the only open worspace. charts and doms are not minimized either. It's just as if theyhave all been deleted!

regardingt he deleting of the My doucments NT files, I meant I deleted everything prior to reinstalling Ninjatrader (ver 7.23). After that, I rebuilt the worspace, saved it, etc... btw it is not a default worskpace.

What should I do, I can't re-do the workspace everyday...

lurefo, would you mind contacting me via Help > Mail to Support from NT7 and then forward your trace / logs and workspaces files? If you for example had a crash it could be that your workspace got corrupted unfortunately.

Bertrand, I just sent the mail via NT7 to your attention...

Also, in both cases, there was no crash whatsoever. Maybe the computer going in sleep mode?

Mine has been like that for while, sometime when I start the NJ 7 beta 22 ( had the same problem with previous beta too) there won't be any workspace and I did everything even to restore the backed up file but no luck, I looked in to the workspace file in my document and it is all there and nothing missing but no luck. I tried shift + F3 also. At this moment I have no charts, no workspace.

Allen, could you please forward me trace / logs and your workspaces files as well to check into? You can use the Help > Mail to Support option in NT.

I have the same problem this mornign.
I opened NT7 - 23 and all data of my last workspace was deleted. The workspace exists but are empty, no charts, no market analyzer, nothing !

I wrote to Bertrand from my NT email support.
                    Thank you.

                            Hello alexstox,

                            Thank you for your post.

You may remove instruments from the Market Analyzer by right clicking on a row and selecting 'Remove Row'. Unfortunately, it is not possible to remove all rows with a single-click currently.
