Prolems with historical data.

I have imported 1 minute data from 1998 to oct-2010. (ES).

All the data has been successfully imported with NT7

For some reason there is a big jump in the chart and the data from 08/12/2004 to 10/06/2010 is not in the chart.

The start & end date of the data loaded is within th beginning ans end if the data imported.

I have checked the historical data manager and I have the full data in the ES 12-10 instrument.

I am sure the data is correct, but I attach a small sample. Part od the sample contains the missed data.

Please, any clue about the solution?

This most likely has to do with the data files you're importing. Please attach the files you're working with and I'll try to load here.

I imported successfully and viewed a chart for the two days that were included in the file. Did you import to a specific ES contract month, such es ES 12-10? The name of the file should match the master instrument + specific contract month expiration. ES 12-10.TXT

The name of the file is correct (ES 12-10.TXT). Otherwise the file ca not be imported sucessfully.

I have tries the same process with NT 6.5 and it has worked perfectly. Same, file, same name,....

How can be that I can see the entire data with NT 6.5 charts, and I have problems just with NT7.

Any other idea?

Please open the Historical Data Manager by clicking Tools > Historical Data Manager.

In the HDM, navigate to the Misc tab and expand the 'ES' section. Do you see all of the imported data listed there within or are dates missing?

Yes, all the data is in the ES secction. This is the weird thing. All the data has been successfully imported and I can see it in the HDM, edit seccion. If I click on the ES 12-10 there is minute data frpm 1998 to now.

I can try to send the whole file by mail to the NT support dpmt. The file compressed has 18,1 MB.

Try deleting all ES 12-10 data from HDM and reimport. We can take a look at the complete file as well. Please use this service for sending large files to support:

I have delete and reload the ES data and I still have problems.

Thanks for the file. I imported and charted successfully the date range you were having issues with.

Maybe your data provider is overwriting this. Have you tried importing while not connected?

Have you checked your computer's data / time to verify it's correct and current?
