Question on the NT BuySellCentered indicator...

Looking at Ninja's BuySellCentered indicator...what are the definitions of the histograms above and below the "0" line...just wondering how to read or interperet these...

    Thanks...

    Hi Alfred,

    Thank you for your post.

If you right click on the chart and then go to Indicators you can highlight the added BuySellCentered Indicator and then highlight the individual indicator and color properties. Below the parameters field is a description box that will include the components of the indicator.

Ryan...took a look as you suggested...there is no definition any place of what the histogram below the 0 line represents...the indicator label explains the histogram above the 0 line but not the histogram below the 0 line I believe...that is what am curious about...

      Thanks......

        Hi Alfred,

When I review my installation of NinjaTrader I do not have this particular indicator can you please clarify where you got and I can then test it.

Ryan...believe that I found it within the link below...

"For the BuySellVolumeNegative, you can find that in the Ninja forums under the indicator BuySellVolume..." Varients: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/forum/local_links.php?action=jump&catid=1&id=53

Reviewing the script for the indicator it seems to have been written by NT...

          Thanks...

            Hi Alfred,

In reviewing that indicator the 0 value represents volume and the green histogram is trades that occurred at the bid price or better, while the red histogram is trades that occurred at the ask price or better. So the higher the green the more trades that occurred at bid prices, while red will increase in size with more trades at ask prices.

Yes...I see now...the primary volume is shown above 0 and the secondary volume (if any) is shown below 0 for each bar...

              Thanks !!
