Error importing daily data

V7.0.0.23, importing daily data gives error "unexpected number of fields in line '0', should be 6 or 3". The attached file appears to be correctly formatted with 6 fields.

I tested the file on my end and it imported without error.

Can you please try to import the file again. Make sure you have an EQ 10-10 instrument available in an instrument list before importing it.

Hi Jason,

I did have an EQ 10-10 instrument setup (pls see attached screen capture). Same error this morning as you can see, any other ideas?

Here you go, it was a JPG so maybe either your or my system virus SW filtered it out or I didn't hit the upload button . Attached as a zip file this time.

Unfortunately I cannot open the .psp file on my end. However I do not doubt you have an EQ 10-10 instrument listed.

I tested it once more after deleting the imported data and it imported without error. Could it be the file you imported is slightly different than the file you posted in post #1? Does the error remain if you import the file from post #1?

If so, please provide me your log and trace files as well. You can find log and trace files at the following locations.

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Log--> log.20101112 for today. (log.yyyymmdd for any other date)

Start Menu--> My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> Trace--> trace.20101112 for today. (trace.yyyymmdd for any other date)

the file I sent to you worked fine, I ran a diff between that file & the file in the NT\Import folder & for some reason the first 2 lines of the file were invalid. Sorry to have bothered you. I do have one other issue related to a multiple timeframe strategy - should I start a new thread since it's a completely different topic?
