    Can't Submit an Exit Order

    I had this happen before and it seemed to rectify itself ?? I open a position with an ATM strategy which sets up a 2 step profit target and a single step stop loss. In the trade I decide I want to close a portion of the position so I try to do so at market or by a limit order. Each time I get "You can't submit an exit order to a strategy until any of its orders has been filled". In the DOM and chart trader I can see the open position.

    How do I get this resolved ???

    Hi Yeneuro,

    Hope all is well.

    Can you let me know if you have 'OCO Order' enabled? There should be a green OC button be lit up. If it is, please disable it before you submit your entry order. You can do this by right clicking in the DOM and left click on 'OCO Order'.

      No it has not been selected on the DOM and there is no green lit on the DOM

        Can you please provide me with the exact scenario so I can try to reproduce this issue. Please include as well what instrument you are using and what the ATM Strategy Selection Mode of the DOM is set to. (right click in DOM--> Properties--> ATM Strategy Selection Mode).

        Also what version are you using? You can check under Help--> About.

          Hi Vince

          The attachment has all the info.

          FYI I experienced exactly the same issue in June 2006. At the time the issue simply went away I believe .....

            Yeneuro,

            I've tried to set up the scenario you provided and was unable to reproduce. Can you please send me step by step instructions on how to get to this message? Perhaps I missed a step.
