Multiple Monitors & WorkSpaces

Thank you for that clarification and I have tested the workspaces on my end and am not able to reproduce what you are seeing. Can you please send an email to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com by going to Help-->Mail to Support and then please include your log and trace files and workspace files so that I can test your workspaces on my end.

I look forward to testing this further.

hope all good. I am new in this forum and I did browse a lot of threads. Just one quick question: at the moment, is it possible to have several workspaces open at once, one in each monitor?

Hi Michael,

Thank you for your post, and welcome to the forum.

Currently you can have multiple open workspaces, but only one will be visible at a time and so you would be able to cycle through open workspaces that are not actively visible, but not see multiple open ones at the same time.

This is an item that has been requested to be included as possible future enhancement to NinjaTrader and it is currently being considered for potential implementation.

Pressing Shift + F3 will cycle through the open workspaces without using the File menu.

Great!! That will do! Though it would be very desirable to have them opened at once in different monitors.

Multiple Monitors

The ability to have multiple workspaces visible at the same time on Different desktops (Differrent monitors) is missing in NinjaTrader 7. It is available on other competeing trading platforms. This thread has been open for more than a year, development team shoud be able to create the ability to have multiple desktops that nest within multiple workspaces

I just want to add my support for the request to have more than 1 workspace visible at a time. I am coming to Ninja from TradeStation where I can have a separate workspace open on each of my 4 monitors, Not having that feature in NinjaTrader is a huge disadvantage when I'm trying to trade during market hours.

Please bring this feature up the "to do" list.

I I also want to add my support for the request due I completely agree with the challenge of this disadvantage. I'm also coming from TradeStation (which was/is a great charting tool, even you can forget the rest). Thank you!
