prices wont update on charts nor strategies....

my prices just stopped updating on charts and strategies... the prices are getting streamed to NT as they are streaming to the orders tab but not to charts or strategies???? is normal for NT??

ok on further testing this happens when I try to place a manual order in...as soon as I change from Sim101 account to my IB account...

In addition, please check which version of TWS you are using. You can check this in TWS under Help--> About.

You must use TWS 906 with the current version of NinjaTrader. If you need to install the supported version, you can find a link to this from our IB connection guide:

wait so the new version 911 will is not compatible...that is whats causing the problem?

Most likely that is the case. You MUST use TWS version 906 with either NT V7.0.1000.1 or NT V6.5.1000.18 to ensure complete functionality between the two applications.

We will be adding support for the newest version of TWS shortly. Please check our IB connection guide after the next NinjaTrader update. We do not have a scheduled date for this update.

great. the version you provided the link to 906.8 will not be supported starting 12/14/2010... the minimum supported version will be 906.9....do you have the update to .9, im afraid if do their update it will take me to 911

We are aware of the planned discontinued support for TWS 906.8.

We will be releasing an update for the supported TWS version before IB discontinues support for TWS 906.8

as soon as I accept the connection - to TWS - prices freeze. just to confirm. on account connections...each TWS and IQ is set to primary and "none" for backup data connection?
