Problem with database migration to NT7

Trying to migrate from NT6.5 to NT7. Directly after it has finished migrating the database, I get an errormessage "Error updating DB: The provider could not determine Object value. For example, the row was just created, the default for the Object column was not available, and the consumer had not yet set a new object value" (see attachment).

If I just ignore the message and continue, I get an empty dialog when choosing "new chart". I cannot select (or search for) anything. And when I check the Instrument Manager it looks like the instruments themselves are sometimes there and sometimes not. I never see any instrument lists.

I'm using Windows XP and have .NET 3.5 installed.

    Hello FireFly

    Thank you for your post.

Prior to performing any migration from 6.5 to 7 please carefully review the following and confirm that all applicable steps were taken.

What you describe sounds like there may have been a corruption introduced when migrating from 6.5

You will want to try the following to repair the NinjaTrader database.
    1. Disconnect NinjaTrader from any open connections via File > Disconnect
    2. From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    3. Select the "Data" tab
    4. Press the "Repair DB" button
    5. Press the "OK" button

Hello, in NT 7.0.1000.1 (Direct live) aro no Trades, no Summary, no Accounts and the like. Are they not migrated from NT6.5? I've already repaired database. What else? Thanks Jirik
