    Export 32bit only

I recently migrated to Release 1 of NT 7.

How do I export my 32 bit assemblies only. I am currently using RemoteSoft and was not intending to upgrade to the 64b version of protector immediately because our usergroup are all on 32b versions only at this stage.

    Thanks

Austin, any further news on this question?

Is RemoteSoft still your recommended supplier as he has not replied to my emails?

          cnecorp,

RemoteSoft is still currently the solution for protection. We are working on an alternative solution at this time as we are aware of it being difficult to acquire RemoteSoft. If you have something you need protected in the meantime, please send us an email at support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com and we can work something out with you via those means.

At the moment export tries to create both a 32 and a 64b. In an earlier sticky on this subject, one of your chaps said that you would be looking at giving us the option to select which.

It now appears that you have combined it to give us both.

All we need is the 32b export.

Can I just export the 32b version because in the beta, I was able to export with NO ISSUES.

            Thanks

              cnecorp,

Hm? Everything is done seamlessly for you when you protect a file with RemoteSoft v3.1. Unfortunately it does require both because the user who is installing these scripts, generally speaking, you wouldn't know if they are using 64-bit NT or 32-bit NT so the process includes both. NT would automatically decide to load the 64-bit or 32-bit version on runtime depending on which version of NT they launch.

Think you may have misread my comments.

                1. I only have 3.0 remotesoft which compiles the 32b properly.
                2. Your beta NT7 compiled it fine when it was only doing the 32b.
                3. Your original intention was to provide an option for us to select whether we want to export 32, 64 or both.
                4. The current version only does both with NO option to select.
                5. My problem, and indeed others with similar issues, would be alleviated if we had this option i.e. we could continue to export 32b until we got this recommended supplier to support his client base.

In short, can we please have the ability to export in 32b only as this would resolve our immediate problem.

                Thanks

Unfortunately v3.1 is the required version as of B14. Please send us a note at support [at] ninjatrader [dot] com and we can work with you through those means to see if we can try and get you v3.1.

                    Thanks Josh

Managed to get a workaround from a posting by Dierk to this post.

All I had to do was to rename the x64 directory in programfiles/remotesoft/bin/x64 to x64.old and it worked.

I will get the email of to support as you suggested.

                    Thanks
