    Lost All Indicators

    I lost all my indicators in NT 7 RT1... I imported a ninja trader indicator demo from a third party, then I maunaully delted it from the documents-> ninjatrader7 file and now everything is gone...

    Please help,

      Hi Kyle,

      No backup, don't know what happened here.. all the indicators are in the files and if I hit edit ninjascript they are there but not on my charts, chart templates or if I try to access them from my charts...all gone...

        From the sounds of it, you may need to reinstall. Before doing so, please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

        In the message, include the following:
        1.) A link to this forum thread.

        2.) Your most current trace file.
        You will find that trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
        Today's trace file would be named 'trace.20101207.txt'.

          Hi Kyle,

          I go them back by restoring the trial indicator .dll file (it was asking for it when I went to edit and indicator, then compiled it to find the error) it was a "metadata error" looking for the trial indicators .dll file... I put that back in from the recycle bin and it works now... How can I get rid of this .dll file and keep everything running?

            Hi Reed,

            That's good news - you can ignore the email I sent.

            You'll want to follow up with the developer of the indicator you're removing for uninstallation instructions.
