Can't Connect with IB after Upgrading to NT7

    Can't Connect with IB after Upgrading to NT7

    As the title states, I used 6.5 with no problems, I installed NT7 and when I hit connect with IB, it sounds like it's connecting, it says connected on the control center, but nothing is working. All of the data ends with Friday, the last day I used IB. I deleted and re-created the IB connection, but still nothing.

    Any ideas?

    I'm going to download the latest IB software and see if that fixes the problem. I'll post the result.

      Hi,

      Thank you for your post.

      Please right click in your chart and select Data Series.
      In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.


      In addition, make sure that under Tools--> Session Manager--> Session template 'Default 24/7' is selected as well.

      Let me know if this corrects your issue.

      Also, do not download TWS latest version as we aren't officially compatible with it.

        This is just weird. The new TWS did get NT7 to start working for some instruments, like Euro futures, but my S&P or Nasdaq doesn't move.

        There is also no history for the ones that are getting data (for example my Euro futures chart ends at 15:00 friday and the next bar is this one 8:25 monday. I clicked reload all historical data and that did nothing.

        Any help would be appreciated.
