    contracts in DOM

    i have dec es stiil in drop down list in dom
    its not in default list or any other list in instrument mgr
    how do i get rid of it please

    Hello poeds,

    You can try resetting your instruments and simulated account to remove reference to expired contracts.


    To reset your instruments please: go to the Tools menu, select the Options menu item, select the Data tab, and then click on 'Reset Instruments'.


    Resetting a simulation account will clear all historical trade data from this account. Please follow the instructions below to reset a simulation account.

    * From the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
    * Select the "Simulator" tab
    * Press the "Reset" button

        Starting with a new database should do the trick, but before doing this, can you please mail the file indicated (NinjaTrader.sdf) to [email protected], Attn: RyanM

        I'll check into what might be causing this.

        To rename the DB:

        * Shutdown NinjaTrader and Go to the Start Menu
        * Select My Documents--> NinjaTrader 7--> DB--> NinjaTrader.SDF.
        * Right click on NinjaTrader.SDF and select "Rename."
        * Name it "OLDNinjaTrader.SDF."
        * Then restart the software.

          Ryan...

          I have the same problem described below...The NQ 12-10 is still in the DOM drop down list after deleting it at roll-over. It is not in the charts drop down contracts or the Basic Entry drop down. I tried resetting instruments and simulated...The NQ 12-10 is still there...I emailed support on this problem also.

          I just renamed the SDF file and restarted NT...the NQ 12-19 contract is still in the DOM.

          Just did a clean install of NT...then restored with todays backup...NQ 12-10 still in DOM...on a 2nd clean install before a backup restore...opening a DOM the NQ 12-10 was missing...after a restore it then shows again in the DOM...
