Strategy Chart prices don't match My Charts

Thanks for posting.

I see your error. Your backtest is on the 03-11 contact your live chart is on the 12-10 contact. This would account for the high difference.

From the screen shot you attached, please look at the contract that is selected in the strategy analyzer (left) and the live chart (right).

The chart in your strategy analyzer has was backtested on the 6E 03-11, while your actual chart is plotting data on the 6E 12-10 contract.

Please switch your actual chart to 6E 03-11 and you should see the data line up between the two charts.

Thank you for clairifying that, did not relalize the contract periods would do that to pricing.

One last point on this to make sure I understand....
If I say my target is 8 ticks and during a bar it has a wick that would hit 8 ticks will the backtest pick up on that or does it just look at closing bar price to determine if you hit your price target?

bbucha_stk, if there is an entry on a bar and that bar also spans a price that would fulfill the target , then the target would be filled in the backtester. Keep in mind this is not how live trading would go, where time actually matters.
