    Rectangles - Inconsistency

    Hi,
    I place rectangles on my charts, in some cases they appear exactly as set in the parameter fields and some cases, they fail to reflect the settings. For example, this morning I set a number of rectangles on my ES chart, one of which was to start @0830AM, [email protected], and end @0315PM, price 1239.00, with Attach to "All ES charts" selected.

    One one chart, the rectangles start at the right setting but stop at unexplainable/random times such as 0839AM, 0910AM etc! Yet another ES chart, all the rectangles show exactly as expected!

    I am on NT7 7.0.1000.1

    Can you provide me with a workspace that has charts which show this behavior?
    You'll find workspaces in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Workspaces folder.

      The workspace is attached (file is zipped as the upload fails to upload xml files!). Of note, the 3500V chart has the issue whilst the 10k shows it right. The original rectangles were applied to the 3500V chart. Also, the rectangles drawn on the 6E charts show up perfectly.

      On a related matter and something I had reported before, was the issue of horizontal lines not keeping their tag labels. Support suggested I ditch the workspace and start afresh, but unfortunately this new attached workspace exhibits the same problems.

        The workspace provided seems to not include any rectangles.

        1.) Are these drawing objects put in to place manually or by a strategy/indicator?

        2.) On which charts and during which times should I be seeing a rectangle?

          All rectangles placed manually, with setting in first post above for the ES (see image for settings).

          Rectangles are for today's morning session for ES and ETH+RTH for 6E.

            Please create a backup of the following:
            • Workspaces
            • Templates

            Next, send that backup in a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

              Email sent with requested info. Incidentally, NT's inbuilt "Mail to Support" email feature never works - is this a known issue with NT?
