NT 7.0.1000.1 doesn't autoroll to current date after a market replay on range chart

    NT 7.0.1000.1 doesn't autoroll to current date after a market replay on range chart

    Hello,

    I'm running NT v7.0.1000.1. After running market replay then immediately connect to live data (zenfire), range chart doesn't autoroll to current day but stuck in the last market replay date. Therefore, it chart doesn't update candlestick bars. However, time charts are working fine. Here are the steps to duplicate the problem:

    1. Create a workspace with a time chart (1min) and a range chart (6 range)
    2. Connect to market replay
    3. Pick a date in the past to replay and let it runs for couple minutes
    4. Disconnect market replay
    5. Connect to a live data feed (I use zenfire)
    6. Notice that time chart (1min) candlestick bar is updating but range chart is not
    7. Open Data Series and range chart would show last replay date in the End date field

    There are two work-arounds on this problem. First, change End date to current date. Second, exit NT7 then run it again.

          Just wanted to report back that this bug will be resolved with the release of NinjaTrader 7.0.1000.2.

            I'm experiencing the same problem with version 7.0.1000.4; however, this time the problem is intermittent. With the below steps, sometimes end date got stuck in the last replay date but not all the time.

            Thanks in advance for looking into this problem

            P.S. After replaying exit NT then restart with automatic connection to a live data feed would give a higher chance of duplicating the problem

              Thanks for reporting this.

              I understand that the issue is intermittent, but I'm curious as to what failure rate you're seeing on your end. If you followed these steps 10 times, how many times might the issue occur?
