Just downloaded 7.0

Hi -

I just downloaded ninja 7 and have a few things i'm trying to get worked out:

- is there a way to transfer my workspaces i have saved under 6.5 to 7.0?

- what is the kinetik end of day data for? does that mean i download daily charts for all futures and equity markets for free now through ninja?

- how can i change the interval spacing in my vertical gridlines?

- is there a way to bring my text on charts in front of the other indicators i already have setup?

- if i accidentally click on the price or my indicators they get bold dots on them, how can i stop this from happening?

Hello maggiej12,

• Unfortunately this is not supported. However when you install NinjaTrader 7 while you have NinjaTrader 6.5 still installed, you will get prompted to migrate your settings from NinjaTrader 6.5 to 7. This will migrate your workspaces, however charts present in workspaces will not be migrated. Please see the link below for more information regarding the migration process.

• Yes, it is free data feed that provides historical daily data only.

• Unfortunately this is not supported. Vertical grid lines will automatically scale. You can disable them in the chart properties menu.

• Yes, this is possible by configuring the Z-order in your chart. Please see the link below under 'How to change the z-order (paint order) of a chart object' for more information.

• Unfortunately this cannot be disabled. Click somewhere else in the chart to undo the bold dots.

when i run a backup does it backup my workspaces w/ charts and markings that i have put on them, so that if i need to transfer to another computer at another time i can do that?

Yes, so long as the workspace is included in the backup archive these items will be available if restored on another PC.
