Turn messages off

In NT 7 is there a way to turn the messages I get from Interactive Brokers via NT off ? Or turn them completely off?

From the Control Center, please click Tools > Account Connections.
In the Account Connections menu, select your IB connection then press Change.
In the Connection Wizard, navigate to the page where you entered your username and password. Therein, ensure that 'Run-time pop up handling' is enabled, then click through the remaining screens in the wizard.

I had the 'Run-time pop up handling' enabled before... Should I disable it instead?

No - you'll want to leave this feature enabled as it will take care of most of the messages.
As these are not covered by the setting we're discussing, you'll want to contact IB to see if there's any setting on the TWS side of things that can be used to disable the messages.

The POP up messages are very enoying and definetelly want to turn them off. These are certainly Ninja Trader dialog boxes with the NT logo. IB can not turn them off.
I keep getting the update NT message every half hour. I want them all off for ever. If I need to retrieve messages I will go to the message center in NT website.
Please show me how to disable them.

NT upgrade messages should include a 'Do not show' check-box. Please check this box, then click OK to prevent the message from loading again.

I want to be ableto turn them all off together. Is that possible? I do not want them to pop up even once.

Is there a message center one can access in the website or in the Control Center where one can view all these messages current and past?
If not this will be good to have as well.

turning off pop-ups

Dear Ninjatrader support,

Could you please tell me how else i can block all messages from Interactive Brokers?

I've got the latest version of Ninjatrader and I have the handling option enabled but the messages still come through???

Could you help please?!?!?

Thank you for your post.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to disable some of the messages which originate from TWS. The messages which can be prevented from triggering are blocked with the pop-up handling option you'd mentioned enabling.
