    Hi renkoben,

    Thank you for your post.

To create an alert you will want to take the following steps:
    1. Please go to File-->New-->Market Analyzer
    2. Within the Market Analyzer window please right click and then select Columns.
    3. Please add an indicator column, and in the right-hand side properties of that added column please change the indicator to Bollinger Band Width.
    4. Please left click on the Alerts property within the right-hand side properties menu for the column and then hit the small button with the following, "..."
    5. Then please create two new alerts, 1 for when the value is greater than .005, and one for when the value is less than .005.
    6. Hit OK to exit the alerts window and then OK to exit the Columns window, and for more information on creating alerts please see the following link.

this is good but which chart did I alarm for. I "successfully" did the alarm after going to file then str. analyser. etc but what if you have 5 charts going? where did the alarm go? for all of them? then sometimes the BB width is different depending usd/jpy or eud/cad

        Hi renkoben,

The alert that is created in the Market Analyzer would not be based on an instrument but rather on the column where the alert was added, which in this case is for the BBWidth indicator.

Then if you add multiple instruments to the Market Analyzer when that indicator reaches the alert values for a particular alert it will sound. To add multiple instruments to the Market Analyzer:

Additionally, you can go to File-->New-->Alerts and anytime your created alert is triggered, regardless of instrument it will show in the Alerts window. More information at:
