No data from MSN Moneycentral - why?

As others I have had a lot of problems with the poor quality of the data provided by Yahoo. Sadly, Yahoo seems to be the only one that have stock quotes for Swedish stocks.

MSN Moneycentral on the other hand, provides a much better quality, but isn't supported by NT though some users have requested this long ago. Why is that?

Is there any other way to get quality EOD data for swedish stocks?

    Hello JakobR,

Thank you for your post. I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

I have provided a link below to our Connection Guide that goes over how to create a free connection to Google for EOD Daily Equities data.

I do not have a list of instruments they offer data for and would need to be tested to see if they provide data for the instruments you are interested in.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

      Thanks for the reply!

Unfortunately I don't get the data feed from Google to work, though I do exactly as I do using Yahoo. NT complains that about an "Error on loading char data for ERICB Dedault: Invalid Symbol STO:ERIC B Trading on OMX." though this symbol is indeed valid:

I have tested ERIC on my end and receive data for the instrument trading around $11.38 as shown in the attached screen shot. Is this the same data you are seeing when connected to Yahoo or is this a different instrument than what you are looking for?

Is the chart presenting data from Yahoo or Google? Getting data from Yahoo works fine, getting data from Google doesn't work at all.

This data was pulled from Google. If you are unable to open this chart while connected to Google please use the steps I have provided below to add ERIC on the fly.
            • Close your current ERIC chart
            • Tools
            • Instrument Manager
            • Remove ERIC from your Default instrument list
            • Select ERIC within the Available master instrument list
            • Delete
            • Connect to Google
            • Open a Daily chart of AAPL
            • Within the chart begin typing ERIC which will bring up the Data Series window
            • Once you have input ERIC hit Enter
            • ERIC will not be available within the Instrument Manager
