Zen-fire can't connect

    Zen-fire can't connect

    Hi,

    I am trying to connect with Zen-fire and it just won't connect.

    There is no error message or nothing, it just says connecting, but nothing happens.

    What should I do?

    I tried resetting the database, but that did not work

      Hi,

      Are you trying to connect to V6.5.1000.19 or V7.0.1000.1? You can check under Help--> About

      In addition, have you made any changes to your computer or software since the last time you were able to connect?

      Have you tried rebooting?

        V7.0.1000.1

        Last time i connected was Dec 17.

        I just came back from vacation, I made no changes.

          Hi,

          Have you installed windows updates pretty recent? It could be they have reset your firewall. Make sure NinjaTrader is still on the list of exceptions.

          If that is not the case and nothing is blocking, please send an email to support at ninjatrader dot com, put in the subject 'For Vince' and refer to this post. Include in this note your username, password and license key you're using.

          I will test on my end then.

            firewall is not the issue.

            i sent an email to [email protected] with subject for Vince, and my account details.

              I have also had the same problem. I called AMP futures where my Demo account is, and they said that the high number value of their demo user ID accounts is causing problems. I have been unable to connect all weekend and all day today as well. They said it should be fixed soon, but they would not give a timetable. This has never happened before. Can someone please update this thread if/when they get any additional information? Thanks

                I have the same issue on two different computers using Ninja 6 on one and Ninja 7 on another computer.

                No new installations on any of the computers and windows firewall is open for Ninjatrader

                Connection with IB is working fine

                It seems there is an issue with Zen Fire connection.

                    Demo accounts are working again. I can connect to Zen-Fire now. You need to re-apply on the AMP website for a new user ID that starts with "1" instead of "9". I did this and now my NT 7 can connect.
