Hello tommyjames,
Using Ctrl + arrow up/down keys will (de)compress the X-axis. Alt + arrow up/down keys will change bar spacing.
Could it be the drawing objects are not displayed in the chart anymore due to compression of the X-axis as Kyle mentions? The X-axis is compressed so it does not display the X-axis values for the drawing object, so it is not displayed in the chart either.JasonNinjaTrader Customer Service

I'm not sure it understand completely what you are saying. So right now I have a chart up with the rectangle drawing tool applied a few times. As I am hitting Ctrl Up/Down some (not all) of the rectangles disappear and then reappear. If you would like to remote desktop into my pc, let me know.

tommyjames,
Would it be possible for you to provide me with a video of your monitor showing this behavior? Based on the steps you've provided which result in the axis being modified, this is the only way I've been able to reproduce the behavior.
If you don't have software for this, the free software Jing works quite well: http://www.techsmith.com/download/jing/KyleNinjaTrader Customer Service

Notice how only certain drawings disappear and the ones that don't are more off the screen then the ones that do. So if it should behave the way you are talking about most of the drawings would disappear.
