Stop Loss Orders in ATM Strategy

I have noticed with my stop loss orders in my atm strategy that my stop orders are being sent as "STOP LIMIT ORDERS" with a limit of +/- 20 ticks. I know you can change this in the options in the superdom to send as a stop order instead, but not if you are trading a globex instrument which is what I trade.

So my question, is there any possible way to use a stop order as my stop loss rather then a stop limit? I mean I know 20 ticks of limit is a big gap, but there is still a chance a stop may not get filled with these types of orders.

I am using the latest Ninja 6.5, does 7 support the stop orders as a stop loss?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hello,

Welcome to the NinjaTrader support forums!

Correct this was forced in NinjaTrader 6.5 and the option does not effect globex instruments.

This limitation has been lifted for NinjaTrader 7 however. letting you set Stop markets for atm strategies with globex instruments.

Let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Thanks for the quick response. I guess I will be changing to NT7.
