Market replay not working

    Market replay not working

    hi there,
    I am using a demo NT 6.5 and trying to replay market, but for some reason doesn't want to connect to Market Replay.
    I have checked run market replay in my options but still no answer...
    please help with this matter

    Hi mysthars,

    Thank you for your post.

    Market Replay works if you have recorded market replay data. To enable Market Replay: Via the Control Center window, Tools-->Options, Data tab : Enable "Run market replay recorder"


    Once you have recorded Market Replay data you can then run it by referring to the following link.

      thanks for your answer
      i have enabled run market replay feature, still can't connect to market replay. Nothing happens when i'm trying to connect to it.
      how can i check if NT records data?

        Hello mysthars,

        You will need to record Market Replay data first before you can replay Market Replay data.
        Market Replay data is recorded when you receive real-time data in a NinjaTrader window (chart, SuperDOM, etc) and 'Run market replay recorded' (Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab) is enabled.

        So you will need to connect to a supported data feed and receive real-time data. Subsequently it will be recorded.

        In addition, NinjaTrader 7 will allow you to download Market Replay data.

          hi there,
          i have enabled market replay and tried to connect to market replay connection, but nothing happens

          i also had the feature enabled before

          so if you want and can help me somehow, please do so

            Hello mysthars,

            Can you clarify what you mean by "nothing happens"?

            Do you see Market Replay connected in the bottom left hand corner of the control center? Do you hear an audio notification letting you know replay connected?

            If it is connected, you should see the market replay controller appear. If you do not see it on your current workspace, can you please go open a new workspace under File--> Workspaces--> New workspace and then reconnect to replay?

              Hello Matthew

              I can't connect to market replay, it doesn't appear in the bottom left corner, there is no audio message.
              I opened a new workspace but still didn't connect to market replay

              is there any other solution? do you think it will be better if reinstall it?

                Hi,

                Have you recorded data? If so, for how many days? In addition, when you recorded data, did you have instruments up and running in either Chart or SuperDOM?

                In order to connect to Market Replay you need to have data recorded from a running instrument while being connected.

                If you have done this and you connect to Market Replay, is the small VCR window showing up in your taskbar?
