    NYMEX CL data in charts

    Hi,

    using NT version 7.0.0.23 windows vista, interactive brokers data feed.

    Curiously the data is updating in real time, but appears to be of last year? i have attached a screenshot. I'm sure this is my fault and is an easy fix, but i am not very sophisticated with the computers.

    thanks in advnace and i apologize if this is an easy fix.

    oh, and by the way, the Natural Gas (also nymex) is working just fine--ie the data is correct...

      Hi ups427,

      Thank you for your post.

      Can you please go to Help-->Download Site in the NinjaTrader Control Center and please upgrade to the most current version of NinjaTrader 7, which is 7.0.1000.2. To download you will want to input your license which can be found by going to Help-->License Key.

      As for the CL chart can you please right-click and then select Data Series. Please make sure that the End Date of the chart is set to January 7th, 2011.

      Additionally, if that does not work can you please clarify the chart interval you are viewing, as well as the current CL front month. Then please go to Tools-->Options-->Data and then please let us know what the Merge Policy is currently set at.

        First, thank you for your prompt and courteous reply. if only customer support in the rest of the world was as good as yours. Second, i installed the new version and the problem is solved! So thats great. Third, and i bet theres an easy way to fix this one, i'm not getting after hours data. can you point me in the direction where i can fix this? thanks again and have a great weekend.

          Thank you for the kind words.

          To retrieve 24/7 data on a chart, please follow the directions below.
          • Right click in your chart and select Data Series.
          • In the Data Series menu, set the "Session Template" property to "Default 24/7", then click OK.
