Trades Informations missings

Hi ,
I'm a big user of Ninjatrader 6.5.
I wrote a lot of indicators and strategies...
I backtested and optimized thoses strategies and I'm using some in real...

I do that since one year , so I can say I have no difficulty to use it...
And I think it's a very powerful tools.

So , yesterday , I decided to migrate all that stuff in NinjaTrader 7 (Just to check)

I copy all source code and compiled...
Of course I have some errors and corrected everything.

I come to the problem...
I'm trying the Strategy Analyser with my strategies and have something strange :
In the summary tab , I have good data results (near result I had with NinjaTrader 6.5)
But I have nothing for : Total Of Trade , Percent Profitable and of course # of Winning trade and #Of Losing trade

Moreover , I have nothing in the tabs : Executions , Trades , Periods , Orders

Is there an option somewere to see those results ???
I don't remember I had changed someting in NT 6.5 to see that !!!

Trumumflu, welcome on NT7 - are you now running your tests on the latest R2 release from last week?
(you can check the version under Help > About).

Can you please give our SampleMACrossOver strategy also a run on your TF continuous contract - would you see the same missing stats there?

What broker / dataprovider are you working with?

Do you get the same outcome if the strategy was backtesting from a regular chart of the TF contract?

Thanks for the quick answer.

1) I'm using the last version of NT7 ( 7.0.1000.2)

2) I just checked the SampleMACrossOver and it runs well...

3) For the broker it's a little complicated. In fact , I have a 'Production' server that run strategies in Real. I use Zen-Fire to trade and sometimes I use IQFeed to get historical data.
Every week I do a backup of the server DB and restore it on another computer.
I make all my test and that other computer , so it is never connected...

4) I don't know how to backtest on chart. The strategy icon is desabled. (Maybe it's because I'm not connected)

Anyway , I don't thing it's a broker problem cause it runs with SampleMACrossOver...

In my code , I'm using all the event : OnOrderUpdate , OnExecution.
My orders are in OCO with a stopLoss and 4 targets...
The stopLoss change when a target is reached using the OnExecution event

It runs perfectly on 6.5 but maybe there are difference in NT7.

I think I will have to check specific NT7 documentation on that part...

(The strange thing is that the strategy gives good results... If orders were bad , nothing should happend)

You're welcome - the strategies need to be enabled explicitly in NT7 now, there's a dedicated property for this task which needs to bet set to 'true' for the strategy to run.

The only change coming to mind for NT7 would be that you now can compare IOrders directly for equality and not need to use the tokens anymore as it was the case for NT 6.5 - could that affect your strategy?
