Limit/stop order,

can you pl verify if these are correct for Limit/stop order,

1) if the order is not filled during the bar, it won't be re-transmitted,

2) with a limit/stop order, the order is only valid during the bar when the initial order was transmitted.

if 2nd line is correct, how does the order sent during the bar when the Buy/sell signal given only at the close of the bar

Thanks for your post.

Neither of these statements is correct insofar as Stop Limit orders are concerned.

Once the order is sent to broker servers, it awaits a fill until manually canceled or canceled by the time-in-force settings. The order is valid until canceled or filled.

Time in Force is a setting which controls how long your orders are valid for. There are only two settings for this property:

• Day: Orders are valid during the day they are placed only.
• GTC: Good until canceled orders are valid until canceled manually or filled.
