    1. Clear all historical data
    2. Connect to Zen-fire
    3. Disconnect Zen-fire
    4. Connect Kinetick
    5. Connect Zen-fire
    6. Reload all historical data

This produces a gap from the previous EOD to the current time

The chart I am using has no indicators except SMA(1) so I can get a HLC bar.

BTW I know people have been asking for HLC in addition to OHLC for a long time. Why hasn't NT provided it?

        Hello BobTN,

When following the steps you've provided, I see no difference in the chart aside from addition of data from the time when I was disconnected from Zen-Fire.

Please send a note to Support [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com with 'ATTN: Kyle' in the subject line.

In the message, include the following:
1.) A link to this forum thread.

2.) Your most current trace file.
You will find the trace file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder.
Today's trace file will be named 'trace.20110125.txt'.

The other item is on development's list of future considerations, but there is not any ETA for implementation.

I can't understand why you get a different result. I consistently get the gap. What are you using for a session time?

using Kinetick isn't fixing the issue I have with real EOD settlement data so I am not going to use 2 connections anymore. I have spent too much time on this issue so I am going to drop it.

            Hi BobTN,

Sorry to hear of your frustration.

I'm using the 'CME US INDEX FUTURES ETH' template when testing as that's what you'd mentioned using earlier. That said, I'm not sure why we're seeing different results either. As the Kinetick EOD feed offers daily data only, the tick charts should remain untouched.

If at any time you'd like to resume troubleshooting, please proceed as per post #18.
