Still doesn't load historical data. DOM works but no historical data. Version = NT7 R2.

      Hi,

Best is to send an email from within the software under Help--> Mail to support. Make sure Logs and Traces are attached. Refer to this post as well when sending in.

Hey, I had reinstalled and it worked for a bit but the 'Reload Historical Data' eventually went gray again and the data went spotty again.

For me, I think it was a Windows 7 Firewall problem, as it is the only thing between my comp and the internet; I don't use antivirus on my trading-only comp. You can go into your Security>Firewall settings in Win7, there should be a section you can click on where controls/rules can be created regarding which/how Programs are allowed to access the internet. I went in there and deleted the rules that had already been automatically set up for NT7. Then I uninstalled NT7. Deleted the leftover NT folder(s) in mydocuments (after I'd backed up my custom strategies, of course). Rebooted machine. Reinstalled NT7. Then just to check out any differences, checked the new rules created in the Firewall>Programs section for the new NT7 load.

If you have antivirus, you need to narrow down the prob by shutting that thing off.

          Hope that helps...

Today historical data works as needed. Strange thing.

Perhaps, it was due to my Internet provider because yesterday I tested the issue with my two friends (connected to their Internet provider via my notebook) and historical data worked with one of them and didn't work with another.

            Why could that be so?

I would not know, but you can contact your ISP and ask if there we any issues yesterday. Perhaps one of their servers was down.
