Cant restore NT7 .2

Was trying to restore NT7.2 get the attached message???

The error indicates that it can't restore your NinjaScript files from a backup. If you have an alternate backup, this would be the easiest to try.

NTBK files can be used as a standard archive, so you may consider opening in an archive program like winzip and manually restoring the files you know won't cause issues.

Yes i can read the erro to but I don't have a clue whats causing this issue,, its ur software.. This is the only backup I have.. So the doing a backup is a waste of time in NT since the restore is not reliable backup for NT7?

This may be caused using 6.5 backup for example. The files aren't protected in any way so you can open it up restore your critical items. Change file extension from NTBK to .zip and you can likely just double click to open it.

I creamed everything deleted NT7 doc folder and reloaded NT.. So the back up doesn't backup the base NT program? How do I know if my backup is corrupt or I can't reload from it before I need to use it????

The only way to know is to restore after creating a backup. You can also manually copy the My Documents\NinjaTrader 7 folder in order to preserve all your custom items.
