Commissions for MB Trading

Hi Ninjatrader,

I can't find MB Trading in the Tools->Options->Commission tab.

- How do I configure commissions if I am using MB Trading as my broker?

- MB trading has started paying customers for using limit orders. Is there any way this can be configured in Ninjatrader?

Hello traderji,

Thank you for your post.

1. Can you plese attach a screen shot of your Commissions tab so I may take a look at what is being displayed. To send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CRTL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach to your reply.

2. Commission can be included in your PnL calculations provided you have correctly configured NinjaTrader. Commission values can be defined for each connectivity provider per instrument and per instrument type.

Commission values are used in the following order:

• From the instrument if a commission value has been defined else
• From the instrument type if a commission value has been defined else
• No value is used since none have been defined

Please follow the instructions below to define commission values per instrument type:

• From within the NinjaTrader Control Center window select the menu Tools > Options
• Select the tab "Commission"
• Click here for details on defining a commission values

• Double click on the instrument you wish to add a commission value for
• Click on the "Misc" tab

Critical: Ensure that 'Apply commission to PnL calculations' is enabled under Tools > Options > General tab.


3. Unfortunately the option to add commissions for Limit Orders is not available at this time within NinjaTrader however, I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

I have attached a screenshot below. There is no option for MB trading in the highlighted currency section (or the futures/stocks section either)

Also additionally there is no configuration option for MB Trading commissions in the Instrument setting either. I was looking at the EURUSD instrument configure screen -> Misc tab.

Hi Kylie,

*sheepish look* I have Interactive Brokers licensed for my Ninjatrader. Is that why I can't see MB Trading?
