Trades rejected

I tried to put on a number of trades just before and just after NFP today. All were rejected for some reason. My broker MB Trading told me that none of them hit their servers so it wasnt them that rejected the trades.
I shut down NT7 and opened MB Navigator. All the trades were then accepted. I rebooted NT7 and mysteriously I could then put on trades.
Does this happen often ? It seems to me a bit suspicious that my trades were being rejected and MBT tells me it was nothing to do with them. However, it is either MBT or NT7.

Also while I'm here I'm finding that volume data isn't being kept systematically if I shut NT7 down. I need to have volume kept when the app shuts down but usually when I look at the chart that was open when I closed NT7 down, some of the volume is there and some isnt'. Its pretty random.

I think I've found a solution to the volume data. I just download using the historic manager and it seems to work OK
