    Market Replay

    Hello.

    I downloaded replay data for both CL and GC. I connected to the replay connection. But nothing replays. When I bring up the available data window, no instrument is listed.

    Help please?

    Thank you for your post.

    Please right-click on the Market Replay control & select ‘Available Data…’ to confirm you have data for replay available.

    Next, check your chart template to make sure it will enable you to view the data as it is played back (e.g. ‘Default 24/7’)

    Please let me know if this does not resolve the issue.

      The Available Data window shows no instrument.

      Default template is 24/7.

        Thank you for your note.

        It sounds like the data was not downloaded successfully. Please follow the steps included in the section “How to download replay data from the NinjaTrader server”:

        Now retry the market replay feature to see if this resolves the issue.

          Yes, those are the exact steps I completed.

          The lower right corner of NT indicated the data was downloading.

          What could have occurred?

            Hello nepenthean,

            It is possible that something could be blocking access to the necessary folder and preventing the data from being written/saved.

            Please send your log & trace files to us so we can check from any error taking place. You can go to Help > Mail to Support… & check the Log & Trace option. Make sure to include a reference to this forum thread.

              Hi there..

              I'm having a similar problem. For the last few days I have been unable to load any data from 2/4/2011 or newer for the 6E. I'll forward my log as well.
