    Chart is not moving.

    Hi,
When I open my NT7 the chart (TF 5 min) is not moving.
Numbers under "ask" and "bid" column are changing ( 810.8 and 810.9 at 9:53 EU time) as market moves but the chart is sitting on 812.0.

Also, any other chart I open is not moving.
Please, could you help me to solve this?

    Hello Kennard,

Can you please check what session template is selected in the Data Series menu (right click chart). Likely it causes the chart not to receive real-time data.

I suspect 'Session template' is set to <Use instrument settings>. Please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Instrument Manager, highight the instrument in question and click Edit. You can now view what session template is used.

Subsequently go to Control Center-->Tools-->Session Manager. You can now see what times are used by the session template. You can modify session templates to your liking or create brand new ones. More information can be found at the link below.

If you select the 'Default 24/7' session template in the Data Series menu of your chart, it does not exclude time and you will receive real-time data.

      Hello Jason,

      Thanks for your advice.

You were right ,session instrument was set to <use instrument setting>

AFter I changed it to 24/7 evrything was ok, chart was moving but after I restarted my laptop and opened NT7 again I lost TF market from database.
Is there a way I can reload it to database?

Good to hear we found the cause of the issue.

Can you please create a new TF chart and check if the requested historical data is loaded. If so, it will be available in the Historical Data Manager as well (Control Center-->Tools).

Please note that historical data is not saved in the database anymore as per NinjaTrader 7. It is saved at (My) Documents-->NinjaTrader 7-->db-->tick/minute/day folders.

UNfortunately , I cant create new TF chart because when I am trying to find it in "instrument lookup" or under tools-instument manager TF -search nothing come up. Its not in the database.

Can you please go to Control Center-->Tools-->Options-->Data-tab and click Reset Instruments. Once finished, you should have the TF available again in the Instrument Manager.
