    problem with connecting/installing

    hi, I actually have 2 problems, which will be kind of related

    1) I am unable to download or rather install the newest version, I can download setup.exe file but when I try to run it install it I get "failed to download ninja trader", I am blaming company firewall - what ports needs to be open for proper installation?

    2) I downloaded and installed older version (7.0.1), having problems connecting and verifying license key, what ports need to be open for this? I do not have any problem with my connection to internet (port 80 is open) so I assume that your license servers are using different port?

    is it possible to know what ports has to be open, also what ports I need to open for smooth connection with zenfire?

    Thank you for your post.

    1) To ensure you can fully download NinjaTrader, you will need to enable port 443 to the following URL's:

    If you are going to connect to the 'NinjaTrader Historical Data Sever', then this connection will be established through the following IP's and ports:
    • DS1 - 64.202.118.132 / Port 31654
    • DS2 - 64.202.118.144 / Port 31654
    • DS3 - 64.202.118.179 / Port 31654
    • DS4 - 64.202.118.180 / Port 31654

    In addition, broker/data provider software can connect to their servers. However, your broker or data provider should have that information available. For some setups, that information can be found within the Connection Wizard.

    If you continue to have installation issues after making these changes, please let me know.


    2) If you are unable to verify the license due to the Firewall you will need to enable the following:


    www.ninjatrader.com
    • IP - 74.200.197.238
    • Ports - 80 & 443

    www.ninjatrader-support2.com
    • IP - 64.38.21.160
    • Ports - 80 & 443

    Please let me know if your issue persists after making these changes to your firewall.
