    some help needed with this code

    if((Range[1] >=MAX(Range(), 7)[1]) || (Range[2] >=MAX(Range, 7)[2]))
    {
    // we had a HH7 breakdown
    Print( "HH7 breakdown ");
    }

    basically what i am trying to do is the following
    1. Either the Range of prev bar must be greater than highest HIgh range for 7 consequetive bars starting from previous bar.

    or
    2. Either the Range of 2 bars back must be greater than highest HIgh range for 7 consequetive bars starting from 2 bars back.

    Obviously my code throws errors. so i am looking for some help.
    Appreciate any assistance.

      Hi junkone,

      It looks like you're on the right track. Snippet below should compile for you.
      if((Range()[1] >=MAX(Range(), 7)[1]) || (Range()[2] >=MAX(Range(), 7)[2]))
      {
      // we had a HH7 breakdown
      Print( "HH7 breakdown ");

      If you apply this to a chart and don't see anything, look into this post for possible solution:

      You may need to add if (CurrentBar < 2) return; so that it doesn't attempt to access empty objects.
